Classroom Volunteers for the 2010-2011 School Year

As of 2008, Silver Springs Preschool requires all parents and caregivers interested in volnteering in the classroom to undergo a police security clearance check.  These security clearances are good for 5 years, so if you have filled one out for our school within that time frame, you do not need to fill out another.

Interested parents or caregivers can pick up a security clearance consent form at the Silver Springs Community Center. For more information, download the security clearance procedures info sheet.

• These two days, registration packages will be sent out in all the backpacks.  This is for children already enrolled in the program who are returning, or those graduating but have siblings coming into the program.  These are due to be returned the following week.

Wed Feb. 17: Pre-registration @ 6:00pm:

• This is for siblings of students who have attended SSPS within the last 5 years, as well as families currently residing within the community of Silver Springs.  Please note that proof of residence should be brought on this night, preference would be a recent utility bill with one of the parents name's on it.  Drivers license, while valid, are not always accurate or up to date.

Sat Feb. 20: Open Registration @ 10:00am (updated Jan 20, 2010):

• This is open registration for all families (children) who do not fall under any of the above categories.

Silver Spring Preschool Fees 3-year-old Program Non-refundable registration fee: $30.00 Monthly tuition: $80.00 4-year-old Program Non-refundable registration fee: $40.00 Monthly tuition: $120.00 All registrants must have a membership with the Silver Springs Community Association. For residents, the membership cost is $25.00. Non residents may purchase an associate membership for $35.00.
